Ok, I have bought two packs. What can I use these for to make house clean, sparkling and sweet smelling. Where to start...

Stick a scoop in the washing machine every time you do a wash :)

  • service wash the dishwasher with on cup in the empty washer on hottest setting
  • bake german style soft bretzels
  • one cup down the sink followed by hot water for stinky sinks
  • sprinkle on smelly spots on carpets and hoover up
  • use only half the reccomended amount of washing powder and fill up with crystals

someone said to put these down the toilet. do i need to dissolve in boiling water first?

mousymouse · 21/07/2011 10:41

no, but I would scoop out as much water as I can, put the soda crystals in and then top up with hot water.

whatever you do, don't use them to clean your oak wooden floor...........like i did..............

I am a nanny/house keeper and accidentally knocked over a bucket of BLACK Matt paint on the BEIGE carpet under the spare bed at work Blush

I tried every cleaning product available to lift the stain (plus I rang my mum crying, who kindly rang in sick at work and came to help me) Blush
The only thing that worked were the soda crystals. They saved my life!!
