Breadmaker woes...

Hello all,

Not sure if anyone will know the answer, but: my DP has managed to scrape off parts of the non-stick surface of the baking pan in my (very old) Mellerware breadmaker. I've washed it, but flakes of the surface are coming off so it's clearly not safe to use. I also can't find any replacement parts online.

Any magic tips which will restore the surface? Or should I just get a new one?

Trying not to vent at DP for being so stupid. We only just used it for the first time today and I've wanted one for so long! Sad

Thought it might be. Ah well. Thanks!

agree it sounds dead. Sad

get the new panasonic one.... its fab and has a seed dispenser and the new one has extra extra strong non stick stuff compared to the older one (which MIL has)

Ooh yeah, seconded for Panasonic. Just got the SD256 model (as I don't do seeds/nuts Sad) and it's fabulous. Pizza every week and bread's brilliant; also keeps longer than the 2 days specified in the booklet - if you keep it airtight. Although much easier to cut second day Hmm
