How would you clean car seat straps that won't detach from the seat

Thats it really. Have a car seat and I've taken the covers off to wash but I can't detact the car seat straps and they are really grubby. What would anyone recommend?

Bowl of hot soapy water and a nail brush?

Wipes ? Solution of vanish/bio washing powder and water. Not come across any seats where you cnalt take the straps off tbh, even if a faff

Babywipes. They clean everything.

Thanks I will try. I've spent an hour trying to work it out. They have metal things on the end and they are fastened onto the loop of the ends of the straps and won't come throughthe plastic of the car seat. I haven't had a seat before where I can't take them off either.
