We have an integrated fridge-freezer but when you open the cupboard-style door the actual fridge isn't as high as the gap so there's a big gap on top of the fridge which can't be seen from the outside (are you following!? Grin ) so we store our crisps on top of the fridge inside the cupboard. DCs are 4 and 6 so wouldn't have a hope in hell of reaching them if they even knew where they were. I love that dragonalley has a Nigella bread-bin that costs about £130+ yet keeps 36 bags of crisps in it! Do you keep Jammy Dodgers in your Le Creuset or Ribena in your crystal decanter! Wink

I've got a big plastic flippy lid thing that you can squash a few bags in. On my return on Sunday night from a girls' weekend I found a half empty bag of crisps in the fridge! I thought this was funny on many levels. Not sure who put it there but I suspect my MIL. My husband would have scoffed them rather than leave them and my mother would clipped with a clothes peg on the top of the bag for freshness.

I know this is a zombie thread but once again MN has provided a practical solution to a random question.

The answer is plastic box cupboard top.

@Silverstreaks I use adjustable curtain rods and shower clips (pic attached). My DH and friends call it a crisp wardrobe 🤣.
