Curtain ideas please

Hi. Not sure if this is the right place to ask for advice but....

We're redecorating the spare room and I impulse bought a pastel patchwork duvet cover. I now have a mental block about what kind of curtains to buy. We have a cream iron bedstead, wooden floorboards, white walls. Any ideas? They need to be lined as there is a street light right outside the window!

i would pick one colour out the duvet cover, eg pale blue and buy curtains that colour and a couple of matching cushions to sit on the bed and accessories/pictures or go for white curtains with blackout lining with bead tie backs in a colour to match the duvet

Thank you. I like the idea of bead tie backs.... Don't know why I was struggling for ideas - blinded by how much work there still is to do I think!
