who cleans the toilet in your house?

its always me who ends up cleaning the loo in my house and i wonder does your OH ever help clean the toilet, or is it the womans job in your house? And how often does your loo get a squirt of bleach/toilet cleaner? Sometimes i think i'm being OCD and other days i think i'm being slattenly by cleaning my loo twice a week.

Always, always me (DH does have a reasonable defence, in that he works far far away during the week) and yes, I do mine twice a week too. The odd extra squirt of bleach if it looks like it needs it.

I clean them all. But I'm a sahm and my dh works long hours. And I have two boys who are incapable of aiming straight or of lifting up the seat. No matter how many times they're told.

I squirt cleaner around when I remember to!

me, I do it after my morning wee and last thing at night. I wash the floor with bleach daily

Yep, always me, despite the fact DH and I do the same job, although he works 3 hours a week more than me. It gets a wipe round if it looks grubby, and a squirt of bleach when I think of it, but in the last 8 years don't think it has occurred to DH that toilets actually need cleaning! I don't know how bad it would have to get before he would do it, I am scared to find out!

so its not just my OH then. I could have swung for him in tesco earlier when walking down the cleaning aisle he asked if i'd run out of my toilet bleach because he noticed it was looking a bit grubby of late. He only said it because there was a girl right next to us and he likes embarrassing me. Cheek of it though when i doubt he has ever picked up the bottle of bleach behind our loo whilst i've known him lol

I do a " proper" clean, under the seat, round the seat, bleach etc, but everyone who can use a loo unaided in this house is expected to check for and remove skidders from the bowl, wipe up drips etc.

Either of us. Same as everything else.

Well, not everything else. Big joke in our house about how I don't know how to work the hoover or know where the washing up liquid is

Cleaner and me. So that's four times a week.

DH would do a shit job (crap gag sorry) so I don't give him the opportunity. Some things need doing right.

He thinks its ok just to squirt and flush, I'm the one who scrubs it. But then I am like Bathylkopian and don't do hoovering really.

whoever dirties it!! unless its DD then usually me just because we seem to have a routine of her going toilet and me going in after her i think it started when she was toilet training and i used to make sure she had wiped then flushed :)

pfft my OH or girls wouldn't know what the toilet brush or the bottle of domestos is even for!! i'm the loo cleaner here!

na i swaer my OH thinks its a game whenever i squirt cleaner down the loo to piss off the liquid from the bowl!!!!

Before we moved it had always been DH's job. Now it's suddenly joined the ever-growing list of my chores, and I'm not happy about it. (Both work FT)

Me

Gets a spray of cleaner or bleach most days.
gets cleaned 2-3 times a week.
