I bleach it every sinle day but in-between times there is often a faint odour! Not a fan of air fresheners, what can I use??

Stick a scented candle on the cistern.

Don't let any boys in there!!!! Seriously - that's why bathrooms smell. Wink

If you have to have a unisex, then make sure the boys:
a) wipe up any dribbles
b) flush after every time
c) don't have carpet in there - or at least cover it with a pedestal thingy... the mat which goes round the loo.

Failing that, loo blocks help a little bit... Not much tho - I still recommend bathroom segregation!

Ok, from now on Dh and DS can go in a potty in the shed!

Once it's clean - wipe over with diluted Zoflora?

northerngirl41 · 30/06/2011 16:59

That's the right spirit!! They'll love it!

Use antibacterial toilet wipes to wipe down the outside of the loo, walls, skirting board, floor - anything which might be harbouring smelly bacteria. It works but obviously you have to repeat when necessary.

Train them to sit on the loo, my two do it! Just need to teach OH next!

I've got a Yankee Candle Vanilla Lime in mine. Mmmmmm

And I agree with keeping boys outGrin
The best advice I was given by a staff member at Topps Tiles was not to have white grout on my cloakroom floor tiles.(She had boys)!
