Mouse in the hall!!!

We found a dead mouse in the hall last night. Just lying in the middle of the floor, legs in the air! We haven't seen any evidence there are more. Could the dog have brought it in from the garden? What do I do?

Yes, I dare say the dog could possibly have brought it in from outside.

Are you sure there isn't evidence of others? I have some mice at the moment (or I did, I think they may have all deserted me now, once I started putting traps all over the place and caught a couple) and the evidence is not that obvious unless you are actually looking....
