How do you clean your laminate floor?

I tend to sweep with a broom or hoover daily and then mop once a week with a not very wet vileda laminate floor mop thing but it always looks a bit smeary!

Has anyone got a steam mop or an e-cloth mop that doesn't have the smear effect?

Or anything else!?

Just taken delivery (Amazon) of my eMop with deep clean head. Fanbloodytastic. So much easier than Vildeda mop and bucket. No chemicals, just water. Smear free clean on my laminate and tiled floors. Just like other ecloth things, it works beautifully. Wish I found it earlier.

Hi, Thenextmrsbuble, this does sound fantastic, can I just ask how does the floor get cleaned if water is just being used? I would have thought that a floor cleaner is needed to get rid of germs etc

If you want a lovely shine, half a cap of fabric conditioner - and it smells good too!

doesnt the water ruin it if too wet?
