was cleaning the floor in the hall yesterday and caught a whiff of something nasty near the door, so i lifted up the lino and there's a massive puddle underneath, absolutely stinking like stagnant water. I dont think its coming from inside my flat as its mostly around the front door, not really sure how to clean it up.
I've lifted the lino completely off and put an electric heater on in the hall, will this work? Also put some bleachy water on it, mopped it up and put down some bicarb of soda to try to get rid of the smell, though it's still minging.
Any advice would be appreciated.
