White hi gloss bathroom cabinet - will I regret it?

I need to buy a vanity unit (cupboard that the sink sits on) for our downstairs loo. We have two small DCs - would a white high gloss one be a mistake; will I forever be wiping fingerprints and smudges off it, a la stainless steel, or do smudges not show on white gloss? Thanks!

I dont find mine too bad for smudges but the paint is peeling off ours.

We had one in our previous house and the paint peeled off that one too.

Hmmm, that's not good, sb!

I was told by a kitchen fitter that hi gloss was no good if you have kids or animals!

I think I will steer clear of that one then - thanks for the advice!

We have gloss white in the ensuite and also in the utility room. Neither show grubby fingerprints. And I have 2 young DCs and a dog & 2 cats who sleep in the utility (the animals, not the DCs)

Both are good quality though, you need to find doors where the gloss finish is wrapped right around the edges rather than cheaper ones where you can see the "join" on the edge - these ones will peel or chip.

I have a high gloss white kitchen with kids and have no problems with it. No dirtier than my old shaker style kitchen and it is 100 % easier to clean imo.

It wasn't a particular brand, it was a cheap one that I was looking at. Thanks or the info about the 'wrapping around', amazonian.
