Cleaning limescale from shower curtains

A v v boring question I know...any tips for cleaning a fabric shower curtain to remove the orange limescale build up around the hem. I've washed in bio washing powder with Vanish Oxyaction to no avail. Is there any trick to get it out, or as usual do I need to buy a new one as it looks really quite skanky!? Thank you.

I've just been to my mums and found a bucket of bleach and water in her bath and her shower curtain dangling into it. She says it works overnight, might be worth a try before you bin it! Hmm

I have recently done this to my shower, and I used an own brand strong bleach and taken a brillo pad to it. Nothing more than a lot of hard scrubbing will do the job.
