I can't believe how much dirt came out of my playroom rug, despite me hoovering every day (sometimes twice a day because of the dog).

I have scrubbed it by hand a couple of times when it looked grubby, but the water was black Shock

I am now going to have to do the rest of the house to see how bad that is.

Be careful not to over wet the carpets or they may shrink!

Thanks Celia. I followed the instructions and they still appear to be touching the walls Smile

I loooove the rug doctor. After having owned several different Bissell machines I rented a rugdoctor to try and sort out our living room carpet (beige, with 3 small kids Shock) and it made it beige again and not the awful greyish colour it had become...

it is fantastic how much filth you can get out of a carpet (we are not dirty people).

Dust, black mud, grit, dead spiders...

Amazingly if you do it again (thinking it must have been really dirty) the second skip of water will be pretty well clean
