What do people think of Portmerion Botanic Garden crockery?

I love mine, but suspect it is deeply naff . I love knowing the latin names for all the flowers - isn't that sad.

I figured that as it's likely to be around for ever I can just add to it over the years (and when I have the money). I grew up in a house with un-matching crockery and I think it has traumatised me .

Wanted it when in my 20's-now think a few pieces is nice but hate huge ''collections''of it as its too busy, but it seams to be coming back in again with alot of my country but smart friends .Just hoping the same thing does not happen to Eternal Beau
