tumble dryers?

I shall be buying a tumble soon and I cant fit a vented tumble in the kitchen, so think I will have to get a condenser tumble.
I used to have a washer/tumble in my old flat, but hated using the tumble program because the clothes came out smelling funny. Anyone else have this problem, or has anyone else had a similar problem with a condenser tumble?

We have a stand alone condenser tumbler and its been fine, no smell or anything. You just have to remember to empty the container otherwise when you think its all done it still sopping wet.. done that many a time.

I have never come across a really good washer/drier. The best tumble drier I have ever had was a Miele - very fast, very energy efficient (although much more expensive than similar ones, but as it used so so much less electricity it was well worth it). Don't know if it was condenser or not.
