New sofa-recommendations please!

Healthy budget-I want something that will suffer two small children and is firm and comfy and not too fashionable (i.e will date quickly) and looks very nice. Any recommendations? Or things to avoid? What about leather??

I would try sofa.com. Really nice sofas, good quality (went to the London showroom and bounced on them all with both of our small children....), AND, if you don't like them for WHATEVER reason, they will come and take them away, no questions asked (withint something like the first month).

I have a pal who ordered a few sofas from there, and then when they were delivered, realised that they were just too big for her room. She was mortified, but they still took them back (w a full refund), no questions asked.

we have multiyork sofas. very well made, quite pricey but 7 years later they are still as good as new.
