lots of services locally to pick up and drop off but they are fiercely expensive, any ideas of how I could find someone?

i don't think it will really be any cheaper oif you have someone coming to you

i think a lot of people do pick up/drop off because they can do it in evenings/around children.

Lots of cleaners do the ironing (mine does). Couldn't you just find someone who advertises as a cleaner and ask them if they'll just do ironing?

My cleaner has been doing the ironing so the house is falling down around me, ideal solution would be to hire a new cleaner and leave original cleaner doing the ironing...but don't want to offend her as she is family friend as well as cleaner at this stage iykwim...

Think I'll just talk to her about it tomorrow and go from there.

Thanks

oh def talk to her, can you not just see if she can do more hours and do both?

or ask if she knows anyone else who could do one or the other?

My ironing lady picks up on a monday mornign and drops back with me on a wednesday morning, I pay her approx £12 / £15 a week. i rarely iron anything now, she does all my bedding and my dh's shirts, and then linens, skirts or dresses.
