Grease marks on t-shirts - help!

I normally sprinkle talcum powder on grease marks, leave for 15 mins, brush off and then wash as normal and they're gone but that's not working this time. And it's a bloody Boden top as well, grrrr - there goes the eBay resale value unless any of you have any ideas as to how to get the grease off?!

rub washing up liquid into it with a little water and rinse before rewashing

I'll second the dab of washing up liquid

not too much mind - otherwise you'll end up with too much froth!

PasstheTwiglets · 17/05/2011 20:53

Will try that - thank you, both of you!

If the wash up liquid does not work try Dr Beckman Stain Slayer. Its a spray found next to all the others in the supermarket. Give it a good spray and then wash as normal. It has a heavy smell so top may need rewashing.

My son got cooking oil all down his new sweatshirt. I tried everything. This worked a treat. Handy to have in.

Washing up liquid or Ariel Actilift gel - fab stuff!
