Nope, if you want a pretty food mixer get a Kenwood Patissier. Half the price but just as pretty. Mine is Red. :)

Depends what you plan to do with it. For baking, a food mixer is better than a food processor, whether it's Kenwood or KA. I have a KA and think it's great but am loving the look of Biblio's .

If you only want to whip up a batch of fairy cakes for the kids or some pastry I think you'd be fine sticking with the Magimix. However if you're planning more adventurous cakes can I come to your's for tea please? it may be time to invest in a bit of kitchen counter candy.

NO. I got a Kitchen Aid on my wedding list. It is better for whisking and cakes than a Magimix, but it's a big heavy thing to be sitting on your worktop all the time. Just buy one of those handheld electric whiskers - with the two balloon whisks you stick in - do just as good job.
