Need help with Bosch Dryer

We have just moved into new flat. Previous occupiers have left a Bosch Wta3100 dryer behind. Landlord has asked if we want to keep it or he will get rid of it.

I tried drying towels and works a treat but I'm concerned as not sure it is correctly vented. It looks like a vented dryer but has a plastic tub attached to the vent with a flexi pipe thing. There was no water in the tub after I used it, which I thought was strange? or not?

Also the filter on the door is full of lint, or what I think is lint as it is more like a mini cushion. Should this be cleaned out?

Sorry it this sound thick, but I have never had a dryer but would welcome one now that we have dd and no outside drying space. Just want to make sure I'm using it correctly.

Can you download the instructions ie here. At a guess yes you need to clean the lint out.

I have a Bosch dryer and have moved somewhere where I cant vent it outside so have bought the pipe/tub thing you describe . I wouldnt expect much water to gather until after a few dryings so dont panic.

Yes just pull off all the fluff on the filter

Thanks for your help. Yes dh has found the pipe tub on amazon. It says you need to put cold water in it? Gg Do you add water to yours? Cleaned out all the lint.
