Dried blood on mattress

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can get dried blood out of a mattress? I bought one of those stain devil things, but it says that it shouldn't be used on upholstery and needs to be rinsed thoroughly!

cold water with some salt in - dab it on and soak up with an absorbant cloth

i'd say at least get a pro mattress cleaner in to see the work and advise on best solution. if you try a chemical you may set the blood to a permanent stain. an inspection wont cost you a penny and at least you'll have advice from someone who knows what they're doing
