Using the dishwasher for cleaning other things???

a friend recently told me she often did a load in the dishwasher of things like; the plastic step from in the bathroom, plastic toys and crocs. She then runs the machine empty hot with bleach. What do you think? Does anyone else do this?

Ditto all the above. Also booster seat. Looked brand new after.

Get over it ChippinIn. What do you think will happen? A stray bit of poo will end up in your mouth?? It sterilises everything.

loo brushes is just vile.

Non-slip mat goes in the washing machine (mine even has instructions for washing on it) along with the bath toys, the bath toys bag and the shower curtain every few weeks.

The plug hole drainer from the kitchen sink and the veg brush go through the dishwasher.

Am seriously considering trying the washing machine drawer in there too....
