Dry cleaners keep ruining my clothes - how do I find a good one?

I have a few key pieces of clothing that are dry-clean only. I usually dig them out for important meetings or posh do's but wear each item less than once every 3 months, if that. Every time I wear an item, I take it to a dry-cleaner's as per care instructions but they keep coming back ruined - buttons snapped in half mostly, one time the dye ran so badly on a jacket that the manufacturer requested it back for testing :( I have tried 3 highstreet dry-cleaning firms now but my clothes keep coming back with the same results and I resent paying a lot of money for clothes that need special care only for them to be ruined. How do I find a good dry-cleaner and does anyoen have any tips for makign sure my clothes survive?

Who are these clothes-killers?

I live in London. We spend silly amounts at the dry cleaners but they've never fucked up a single garment Sad
