serious clutter problem with horrible, horrible bugs. I pulled a sickie today . How can I explain at work that my house is infested and I had to stay home for the exterminator?
so a very nice man came round but the house needs stripping and deep cleaning. Can't do this alone this is not something I want to share with my friends. is there a company I can contact?
dd, a student's idea of de-cluttering is to send what she doesn't really want home to me. She is being kicked into touch pdq.
not easy being single at a time like this. limited support networks. NW UK

What sort of bugs? It sounds as though you could do with contacting a cleaning company that do one off deep cleans although you'd probably have to clear the clutter first.

Can you hire a skip? Spend a whole weekend being ruthless chucking anything not used or needed. Maybe get your DD home to help you? Once it's reasonably clear then you can get the cleaners in or it may not seem so bad and you could perhaps mangage it yourself?

Have pest control dealt with the bugs or do you need to clean up first? If the latter then it's fairly urgent that you get in top of the situation asap.

the bugs begin with c. dd has exams so isn't an option. not loads and loads of junk, just a very small flat for a long time and maybe I dont pull out furniture and wash under the fridge as often as I should. pest control have laid traps and need full access to every piece of wainscoating before the big poison in a couple of weeks.

some good stuff from amazon seems to be helping. several corpses. yuk, yuk, yuk.
But I'm trawling the net for inspirational stories. I don't have cancer, my children are is fit and well, if unavailable at this moment in time.. This is getting me through.
