need to get a new mat for inside front door. Ideally washable. Are the JML ones any good?

I know its a trivial question, but I like to do my research!

I have one from Lakeland which is the dogs wotsits. And we hose ours down now and then and pop it out in the sun to dry.

I really recommend a Turtle Mat. They are fab and you can chuck them in the washing machine towash them. They come out like new everytime.

get a really BIG turtle style mat, ie about double the normal size of a doormat

and get one without the black 'frame' and of a colour approaching the current floor, so it doesn't stand out

it means on cold days you can get in the house & shut the door without taking yr shoes off or defiling the carpet

Turtle Mats are great! We have bought a couple in the sale a few months ago - they had 40% off and are back to normal price now - so it might be worth waiting for their next sale.

Another vote for Turtle Mats.

Watsons floormats are cheaper, work great, and mine are almost 10 years old (aaaargh, I'm old) and look like new!!

Another vote for Turtle Mats.

I foolishly also bought a Turtle look-alike from Wilkininsons - it might have looked the same but it was defnatley inferior
