how do you stop them minging? There is black water inside them even after bleaching and boil washing. Or am I being mental? Do you just throw them away?

Sadly I bin them & have stopped replacing them. It seems impossible to find any that don't take in water. Have tried bleach, milton, all sorts to clean them out but nowt bloody works.

I put those that are suitable though the dishwasher. I hate the orange slime that seems to cover some of them

Yes, bin. Unfortunately not very eco-friendly but there doesn't seem a better option for these things!

I used to bin them until i got fed up of buying more. Now we have cups, water wheels and different seives insted of the sqirty ones. Much easier to clean!
