Help!!!!

I bought some maternity white linnen trousers a couple of weeks ago. I wore them a couple of days then washed them. Anyway as I was hanging them up on the line I got a funny mark on them. I assumed it was just dust or something from the washing line as it was straight and exactly where they had been thrown over while I hang everything up (I throw things over then get the pegs on them while hanging them up properly). So I washed them again, but the mark is still there. Any tips for getting rid of it?

I was hoping they would see me through summer as they would be cool for me, but they havent even lasted a month Sad Yes I know White probably wasnt the best colour to buy, but I find maternity clothes so limited in range. Plus I did get some black ones too.

Also do you wipe down your washing line? If so how often and what with?

Thanks

I wipe the washing line with a damp dishcloth before I use it. You could try very carefully spraying your trousers with a household spray containing bleach...wash within 5 mins in the washing machine. This gives them a dose of bleach, but not a full dose iuswim....I would only try this after I had tried conventional Vanish sprays, etc.

Agree - it's safest to wipe down line before using.
Plain hand soap can shift odd stains, rubbed in gently with hand-hot water.

Have you tired bio powder? After years of using non-bio liquid i bought a box of persil bio and it is fab. Just washed my sofa cover with it and it has not been so white since i bought it. Is also meant to be better for you machine.

Good luck.
