Can anyone give me hints on this? I am not sure how to do it but getting pretty full and am too tight its too far from the shops to keep going and buying them Grin

No idea but am marking my place as also fed up of buying them.

You can order generic ones on amazon cheaper than miele but i wonder if they are any good.

I've done this in desperation a few times when we've run out of bags and/or money - but you really need a paper face mask as the dust is bad.
Also it's best to do it outside and wearing clothes that don't matter, either straight into the bin or onto some old newspaper.
tools - use an old fork or some really grippy tweezers to start pulling stuff out of the bag. What you don't get out is the dirt and crap adhering to the inside of the bag.

It's always good to clean the two filters in the hoover every now and again too.
And buying the cheap bags works although sometimes they're not easy to fix in the slot.

Have also done this, currently bag in the vacuum has been emptied five times, frankly they are so expensive I expect each bag to last at least three fills. Emptying is a mucky job, but the saving definitely make it worth it!!!

OK will try it all out! Mask and old clothes at the ready - can't be any worse than that shoddy emptying of the dyson that used to go all over the floor and me and the inside of the bin - think I will try straight into the outside bin with rubber gloves on!

You remind me with your Dyson comment that it exactly the dust in the face moment if emptying the Dyson that made me buy the Miele. Disgusting. Get some cheaper bags.

I buy a cheapo version from our local market as I can't face it. They seem just as good.

vanimal · 04/05/2011 23:05

I use a cheaper version from ebay - they seem fine.

Hated emptying the Miele ones out.

ThePrincessRoyalFiggyrolls · 05/05/2011 00:24

am off to search for cheapo ebay ones now..............that tells you of my experience with dust yet again!

We use the old Dyson to empty the Miele bags Grin
The cheapo ones are OK, but I have had them burst which was a complete bloody pain.
