coal dust on a silk carpet

any tips on how to remove coal dust marks off a silk carpet?

I found a suggestion to use degreaser on clothes...but not sure I'd do that for silk anythings...

This may help

Do not vacuum the stain but if you can, let the vacuum hover just above so the coal dust is sucked out.
