It is "fresh" dirt and mess in that I have been doing uni work so could not get around to doing the house, but now things are out of control!

Help!!!

I cannot even find clean dish towels or polish cloths!

Mine is often a tip! When I do eventually get off me bum, I usually start in the kitchen. Dishes in dishwasher, wipe down all the worktops, clear all the tat off the windows, sweep, then wash the floor, and finally clean the sink...then I have a coffee, and my next stop is the bedrooms. Every one of my friends does things in a different order though Smile

I'd start in or near the fridge and sink. 1) Locate plastic bag 2) wander from room to room filling plastic bag with rubbish and anything likely to go mouldy 3) post back for progress report. You will already be feeling more in control by that stage.

Thanks!

I have had to do a combination of all ideas:

  1. Started in the kitchen
  2. Anti clockwise
  3. Two bin bags - rubbish and recycling
  4. Washed most dishes (no dishwasher)
  5. Picked up stuff off kitchen floor
  6. Put load of washing on.
  7. Cleared some tat off windowsill (had been there so long I did not even notice it was there)

That sounds SO sad!!

Smile
