Can anyone recommend me a dishwasher

Our indisit has died Grin dh bought it 8 years ago and it's always been crap, so I've had to wait until it died so I can justify a new one.

So I'm looking for a white dishwasher which actually cleans properly, I have a budget of up to £350, but obviously the cheaper the better Grin but I don't want to compromise on the cleaning efficiency.

I need recommendations so we don't make the same mistake again

I have a bosch exxcel which is doing ok so far. It is very quiet and has a cutlery tray at the top of the machine instead of a basket which frees up space on the botttom rack.

Yes I can. have recently brought a Hoover dishwasher. It's excellent. Tons of space. You can rearrange the shelves how you want them or lower the top one as well as. fairly quite. Has a timer so you can put it on after midnight and save on electric. Excellent cleaning, not had one thing come out which I need to re-clean, which is a bonus compared to my old dishwasher. Couldn't find instruction book but the model number is HFI 3015.

God how sad am I...raving on about a dishwasher Blush

We have a double john lewis drawer dishwasher which is fab since you can have one load on and be loading straight into another. no idea what it cost though since it was here when we moved in. If it died though I would want another!

Ours is Miele. Really very good at cleaning the dishes and everso quiet. Its got a cutlery tray at the top which takes a bit longer to fill and empty, but gives you loads more room elsewhere. Also, the upper shelf is very easily adjustable so you can raise or lower one or both sides which is great if you want to put big stuff underneath. Probably the best dishwasher I've had - had Bosch previously which was fine too but I prefer this one on balance.

Don't buy Smeg. We had constant problems with our Smeg dishwasher - and our Smeg oven - and replacement parts cost a fortune (£350 for the LED display on the oven Shock Shock).

Another vote for the Bosch excel. It has a superb half hour cycle and is the best dishwasher we have had
