Have been brave and posted pics of our bedroom at this link.....

Bedroom

Its definitely a work in progress - very tricky layout with lots of doors and windows, but I'm happyish with the floor plan now.

But I know we need new curtains. The current ones are so hideous - colour, length all wrong. Sooo, was hoping somebody with great taste can suggest some others. We will also need a blind along the large window, as floor length curtains would cover the radiator in winter, so would most likely be 'dress curtains' only

I like these - and am waiting for samples, but should I look at plain instead?

I really think your room looks lovely. I like the white furniture and duck egg sofa together. Have you thought about ticking fabric? Look at Ian Mankin and see if you like any of that sort of thing here. I think Sanderson have some beautiful fabrics which would look lovely, like this

Thank you - I love Sanderson fabrics. Have not thought about ticking, but it could help to tie some colours together, whilst not going all floral on DH. Good website!

I have no suggestions for curtains but I'm very much coveting your wardrobes and chests of drawers!

Your room is lovely!

If everything else is plain, the William Morris' would look great.
I have extremely dull curtains so that they could go anywhere when we moved. But they are a block colour - a dash of colour in an otherwise boring room.

I'd LOVE to look at curtains but have to go out soon. I'd get a nice picture on one of those walls too.
It's very tasteful, I'd say but slightly ......Can't think of the word...bland ish. But I like very very very much!!! Good for restful sleep.

I'd def look at plain also. You can always get a patterned throw or rug.
Dh tells me it's very refined and can he move in please? Grin

Have a wonderful book of fabrics that would be fab for you to peruse. Damn!
