febreeze???

our car smells.. it's the carpet under the back seat floor mats, we don't have time to have it carpet-shampooed before the long weekend when we're away and i'm wondering if washing the floor mats and febreezing the carpet might work?

I've found that in the short term, yes, it works. Or at least it stops things from smelling so bad. So if I were you I'd wash the mats and use febreeze on it for now, and then perhaps when you have more time in the future get it cleaned properly. HTH

I keep a can of febreeze in the car. Yes, it does work.
