Recipe states
250g S.R Flour
2 tsp baking powder

I only have plain flour and know I can add baking powder to make it S.R.

So how much do I add? I figured 2 tsps to the plain flour, but then do I add another 2 as in the recipe?

Hope this makes sense. Thanks Smile

Not sure, there's prob a formula for making your own srf if you google. The muffin recipe I use has tons of baking powder in it, so more rather than less, I think.

I have a recipe which only uses SR flour, and no extra BP. You could use the plain flour with BP in that, would you like it?

Nigella's recipe uses plain flour, plus two teaspoons baking powder and half a teaspoon of bicarb. Same quantity of flour.
