Quick question - re Lakeland oven cleaner

ok, so I put the gooey jizzy gel stuff on the oven at 830 this morning, the box says it will work from 3 mins to 3 hrs depending upon how dirty it is. I knew mine was rank as did the Jamie Oliver lamb cooked on the actual shelf yesterday, plus haven't cleaned it in about 6 months and then it was only half-arsed. It's still on there now, and I really can't be arsed doing it yet - has anyone left theirs on up to 8 hrs?

No, but if you phone Lakeland they will advise you as they are fantastic at customer service.

Excellent - lovely lady at Lakeland assured me that there is no limit and that it won't damage the oven....now can I really be arsed? suppose I'd better!

That is good news.

I am seriously impressed with oven mate. Oven has come up like new, apart from the bits I missed! Oh and it's taken between now and my last post give or take 10 mins to clean the bugger off!

Chupa, I have used oven pride before and it was nothing like as effective, brilliant on shelves but that's about it.

Thanks all for your comments btw.
