Can I get a dishwasher in my kitchen?

Been thinking about this for a while. The only problem is that the only place I could fit one in is a few meters away from both the plug socket and water pipes. Does anyone know if it's at all possible to get one with extra long cables and pipes or should I just forget about it?

Yes but that still doesn't sort the problem of the water connection. Can you get extra long hoses do you think?

Thanks Ruby - may venture into John Lewis for a wee chat then.

Yes I think it would be fine. I once had a slimline dishwasher at the end of my benches as there was no place for one so I definitely used an longer connection hose there.

yes no problem, on screwfix and similar you can get longer pipes.

Thanks everyone for all your kind replies. Will see about getting a socket put in and check out the possibilities.

You can get extension kits on eBay.
