After 8 years of service, our Phillips iron has given up the ghost (shorting the electricity circuit so I know it's screwed).
Can you recommend an iron? Which one do you use and why do you like it?
I don't do huge amounts of ironing - DH's work shirts, my work clothes and the odd top here and there. My old iron had a ceramic plate which seemed good - are metal ones better?
