How many towels?

Our stack of bathroom towels is taking over the linen cupboard.

There are three of us, bathing daily. One bathroom.

I'm thinking 6 bath towels, 6 hand towels, 3 baby towels plus 4 for emergencies- sickness, defrosting freezer, etc.. and chop the rest up for cloths.

Too much or not enough? Once I get going, I get carried away with dejunking. :)

Sounds enough to me!

What about the middle sized towels for when you've washed your hair?

Visitors? If you have overnight guests or the dcs have someone for a sleepover will you have presentable ones for them?
You also always seem to need a really rank one for a plumbers Shock

yy you need hair towels for yourself. 3.

I'd go with 9 bath towels.

Maybe one extra of each for when you have guests?

How many loos do you have? 3 hand towels per loo.

More emergency towels, think full family D&V Shock So, 9?

IMO 3 is the optimum minimum for all things linnen - one in use, one in the wash, one in the cupboard.

Looks like I might have to keep them all them! Maybe just organise them so the emergency/visitors ones are stored at the back or something.

Re the middle size towels, Most of out bath towels are actually middle-sized towels, so these do both jobs. Have one or two bath sheets but would make a crazy amount of washing every day if we actually used them!
