carpet and sick advise needed!

My DD threw up a few times last night and we can't get the sickness stains out. it's all orangey/red due to having pasta and tomato sauce. we are using 1001 shampoo and it's slightly faded but it's still very noticeable on the beige carpet. So what do you wonderful mums netters advice? top tips please!

It's also down a wall where new wallpaper went up yesterday (cath kidston - arrgghhh) there are a few watermarks so i doubt whether they will come off.

Biological powder is usally a good option. Mix it with warm water to make a paste and spread it on the carpet. Leave it to dry and then hoover it up. We've got beige carpets and a toddler so I do this fairly often! (We don't use bio powder to wash clothes with as it irritates my skin so I bought a box of Asda Smartprice for about 90p)
