HELP!! How do I get highlighter pen out of clothes?

Just went to take the clean WHITE wash out of the machine only to find that again bloody DH has not emptied his pockets before putting his clothes in the washing basket. This time it's not a harmless screw or nail he's left in his pocket, on no, it's a sodding highlighter pen and it has leaked all over the other clothes. I am so pissed off AARRGGHHH. Please kind ladies, tell me it will all be ok if I wash the clothes again and that all traces of luminescent yellow will be gone.....please? If not has anyone got any ideas of how to get it out of the clothes (begging emoticon).

And before anyone says it, yes I should have double checked his pockets were empty.

Not your job to empty his pockets. If all else fails, bleach the lot.

I think it fades eventually. Maybe in sunlight if you're lucky

Oh God, I'm going to kill him. Maybe if I hang him out on the line he might fade in sunlight...one can only hope.

If it's not been there for too long, spray with hairspray before you wash. Honestly, works with most things... hair dye, acrylic paint....
