Dishwasher tablets/powder

I have recentlty used Lidl's W5 dish tabs as Which said a while ago they were good. I don't know if they have changed them recently, but I don't find them to be that great. I prefer to use seperate salt and rinse aid, and I know Finish powder is pretty good but ideally I would use the cheapest reasonable stuff. Any experience of this please?

I am currently using tesco value dishwasher tabs along with salt and rinse aid as recommended on here. I always use salt/rinse aid even when using the combined tabs. I also like fairy bursts but only buy them when they are on offer (same with any other big buys like washing powder, etc as I begrudge paying full price for them)

Asda have brilliant offer for Finish at the moment 35 for £2 usual price £7

I use tesco normal 5 in 1 tablets, with rinse aid as well which seem to wash fine. I went down to Daisy a month ago and they were terrible, so I went back up to Tesco. Haven't tried Tesco value though.

Second the Asda offer on Finish dishtabs - have stocked up. However, I have recently been using their Smartprice Tablets (£1.69) along with salt and rinse aid and they have been great.

Might depend on your local water (hard vs soft) but on my dishwasher, Lidl W5 works much better than Finish tablets or dry Finish granules.

I use Daisy powder from Tesco. Dirt cheap and just as good as the branded stuff.

Whateveron offerwhen I need to buy them.

Our dishwasher stopped working (Bosch), the pressure chamber was absolutely full of grease, and the repair man said we should not use cheap dishwasher tablets.

I use sains basic range but I run an empty hotwash with soda crystals now and then. Mines Bosch I only use the Eco setting.

I only ever use Finish Tablets powder reminds me of whay my mum used to use..... I get the best results using the Quantum ones...
