Biro leak in cordoroy jacket pocket - HELP!

My Husband's beloved cream cord jacket has a very noticeable biro leakage stain on teh pocket. We have both tried about 10 goes of STAIN DEVIL and it just never seems to be going. Keep dabbing off more and more ink. Shall we just bin it? Husband thinks he read that hot washing it seals the colour more but I am tempted to wash it at 60. Any tips please?

dipp it in boiled milk....several times....squeeze out then repeat leve overnight if necessary

Cheap hairspray gets rid of biro, you also need to spray it from the back of the material, so not to make the stain deeper.
