I want a fabulous bathroom...

About to move into a new rented house, and i have decided to make my bathroom fabulous - I can't afford to get stuff for all the house at once, and i reckon the bathroom is the best place to start as it should be quite easy and I love baths.

SO...The bathroom is all white atm, with one of those baths with taps in the middle rather than at one end, with a shower over it, the rail for a shower curtain, and the sink and loo. The window is over the bath (opposite end to the shower) and is fristed but could do with a curtain. There is a big mirror with a plain brown frame and a wooden door. All the fixtures are silver.

I'm thinking of going totally OTT with the indulgent look. Deep purple accesories, disco ball (we have a disco ball now in our old bathroom already as DD1 looks at it to keep her head back when we wash her hair), maybe a purple bowl with pebbles and candles? How can I hide my bubble bath/sanitary towels/DHs shaving stuff/kids bath toys?

I want a room where I can have long baths and forget all the worries, and pretend that I am some kind of pampered queen in an exotic place, and not an skint mum in North East England in a recession.

Oh, and my budget is very low. £30 absolute tops. I am more than happy with second hand stuff if need be though - I'm thinking maybe a tall thin unit to squeeze in beside the loo, I could paint it maybe?

So, ideas?

Oh, and the rest of the house is a bit rusticy/hippyish, but I want the bathroom to be totally different - it might be a bit chavvy, but I don't care! I want to feel like I'm in a chocolate advert.
