Hall Runners

Hello,

WE have just moved into a new place and I need to get some hall runners to put down on the floor boards. I can't seem to find a store that does them without having to get them custom made.

Does anyone know where I should be looking?

Thanks!

Do you mean carpets or door mat style? Because turtle mats do runners.

I mean carpets that run the length of the hall

I went to a small local carpet shop and found the carpet that is usually used as a stair runner. The sort of carpet that is used with stair rods, if that makes sense.

I gave them the length of the hall and they cut it from the roll and for a modest fee bound the two ends.

Runners just collect dust and get in the way when you need to hoover/mop.

True but washable runner rugs are way to go. So easy to clean if you have the right capacity washing machine. You can also check these rugs.
