Dressing a super king size bed, no headboard

I want my new bed to look like a White Comany one, but having bought their linen before for £xxx and then washing it with a biro, am reluctant to spend £xxx again. Maybe I will be more careful after that but there are still the dc/dh to consider.

The questions in my head are king size pillows?

I thought using a flat sheet (hc cotton) and a cheaper duvet cover, because changing the really big duvet covers is tricky? So I wouldn't have to so often, just change the sheet. And the hc duvet covers are really expensive.

I would normally go for all white, but we are moving into a rented white flat and think it might look a bit meh.

Any suggestions for luxe lite warmly appreciated.

Not White Company suggestion, but TK Maxx often have nice SuperKing bedding for cheap(er) prices.

I don't have sk pillows, and just have a bottom sheet and duvet and change it all weekly, its not that hard to do the duvet once you get used to it, it just takes practice. Its definitely easier with 2 people though. :)

have you tried qvc web site - they do some decent quality bedding - high thread count at good prices and stock superking

Thanks for the suggestions I think I will skip the flat sheet then and look at QVC. TK Maxx is a shop that you have to go into isn't it?

I can't wait to get it!

Oh I gave up with looking for super king bedding, and changing it was soooooo difficult, and superking bedding is expensive! So now we have 2 single duvets! Grin

Dunlems do superking pillows btw!

I got some lovely palin sk bedding from House of Fraser in the sale (recommended on here) and it looks lovely. I don't have sk pillows though. I also bought a couple of throws from John Lewis to dress the bed - it looks fab!
