Warming drawers

Am having a new kitchen and one company showed us these in their show kitchen. Has anyone got one? Are they truly useful or just a bit gimmicky?

i have one, but don't use it much.

Would think it would be useful if you have a large family, or entertain a lot. Or perhaps have someone who eats at a different time to the rest of the family.
