Furniture delivery - man with a van, or courier..... or?

So, I have managed to sell one large wardrobe on ebay, and the cheeky buyer said the price would have to include delivery. Quite a good price, so I don't mind. But I don't have a clue where to start to arrange someone to take it to him. Its got to go from Kent to Victoria.

Any ideas? Shall I just trawl the yellow pages (or Yell.com in fact, as I chucked the actual book)?

I've seen courier/moving companies on ebay - has anyone used these?
Ta, ladies!

That seems odd. If you list it as buyer collects then that's what happens.... unless you negotiated with the buyer.

Anyway, I've just arranged for a man with a van to collect some garden furniture for me. I found him on the net but I also put a request on this website and had half a dozen quotes for the job.

Yes, we negotiated that the price was including delivery.

Thanks for that website, will have look.

Yes shiply was brilliant. We got a 3 seater sofa, armchair and ottoman delivered to Hackney from Tooting for 50 quid.

Don't go for the cheapest though. They have no insurance and are pretty dodgy (according to my mate!)
