Stinky new pvc umbrella!

Any tips for getting the honk out of DD's brand new Cath Kidston/Fulton birdcage umbrella?

It is honking. I am gagging. Have tried fairy liquid and the show. No dice.

Any suggestions?

And the shower....DOH.

Air it off outside?
Oust hard surface spray?

I'm sure it will fade in time, but it is SO strong, the whole house is infected.

Are you both telling me to be PATIENT??????
