Black Cotton Fitted Sheets?

BelieveInLife · 16/03/2011 14:18

I'm trying to find some black 100% cotton, preferably egyptian/high thread count for my kingsize bed.

Currently got horrible polycotton ones and want to replace them. All I can find though is polycotton...have tried Littlewoods, Debenhams, M & S and Dunelm all to no avail...

Is there a reason that black only comes in polycotton do you think - ie. some sort of 'dye' issue? Or can you help me find any?

TIA.

You can get black 100% cotton fitted sheets from Ikea. I don't know about the threadcount, but they're quite heavy cotton.

I got some from John Lewis once.

Could be a dye problem. Cotton does fade, my duvet covers several shades lighter on the outside and that's with always using woolite.

Yes! John Lewis have some, thank you!

I got some from tesco 100% cotton, ive had them about 2 years and they have started to fade now but i think thats a problem with any dark coloured cotton.
