How so you store your long necklaces?

Mine are in a tangled heap on my dresser. How do you keep them separate? Do you have to use some horrible tree thing or does anyone have a cleverer solution?

I have a row of hooks on tne side of my chest of drawers, they dangle from there quite happily. :)

I have a row of hooks on the inside of my wardobe door that I hang them all from. Got them from the local diy shop and just screwed them in.

TrinityIsABunnyMunchingRhino · 14/03/2011 10:39

I hammered tiny nails into the sides of my built in dressery type bit (no awards for describing stuff)

seanbonbon · 14/03/2011 10:39

Hang them on my bedpost. Not fancy but works for me.

Strawbezza · 15/03/2011 10:18

Hang them from map pins on a cork board on the bedroom wall. Bracelets hang there too.

WhoWhoWhoWho · 15/03/2011 10:22

I have picture pins in a row on the wall behind my bedroom door, look quite nice against white wall and don't get tangled. Smile

on this

No dressing table here but have them all in a decorative box. I store each necklace in a small resealable freezer bag so that they dont all get tangled together.

Clever ladies. Hooks it is!
Seems so obvious now....

A friend of mine does this in her bathroom. She has a huge collection and they are very colourful and vibrant. It looks amazing. I always take longer in her bathroom than anyone elses as I am staring at all her lovely jewellery. Grin

I have sticky hooks on the inside of my wardrobe, all lined up... works for me

Magicmayhem · 16/03/2011 19:33

I just read that back and it didn't really make sense.. wardrobe door

TwoNoisyBoys · 16/03/2011 19:38

Whenever I put hooks on the inside of my wardrobe door they always fell off, so now I hang them on a trouser/clip style coat-hanger, (the clips stop them sliding off) and hang it in the wardrobe Smile

Flisspaps · 16/03/2011 19:43

Nails in the windowsill (the box room is a walk in wardrobe though, not random nails in a random windowsill!)

Monty27 · 16/03/2011 20:15

I have this sort of thing It hangs to the inside of my built in wardrobe door, I have another one on the other wardrobe for silky scarves.

desperatelyseekingsnoozes · 16/03/2011 20:18

The children made me a thing to hang them on from a notice board and some hooks. It is on the inside of my wardrobe.

DuelingFanjo · 16/03/2011 20:25

I have a mirror on the wall with a nail hammered into the frame, they hang there.

QueeferSutherland · 16/03/2011 21:50

Bed post and a figurine type chap.(Non-naff.)

I like that over door thingy!

I'm thinking of getting one of those card holders for the wall. I could put earings on it too.

SlightlyMadSpook · 16/03/2011 21:56

I have this on my bedroom wall.

I have gently bent all the little flowers out and hook my neckalces, long and short over the flowers.

dottyhenson · 16/03/2011 22:00

CountessVonKnackerstein · 16/03/2011 22:03
